1 Rent an Ozone Generator
Renting the correct ozone generator will make the process work better. While exact figures are not well-established, a generator rated at 1000mg/h is probably the bare minimum to do an effective shock treatment on a medium-sized car. Larger vehicles may need a generator that is more powerful and can output units up to 4000mg/h effectively and safely. It is essential that the unit be compatible with a flexible duct. 2 Remove all trash and personal belongings
Take everything out of the car (including the spare tyre) to prevent any colouration by the oxygen treatment.
3 Vacuum the car
Vacuum the car and wipe down all hard surfaces.
4 Attach duct
To commence treatment, attach the flexible duct to the ozone generator. Some ozone generators may come with a duct, but a vacuum duct can be used. If you have duct tape, use this to seal it securely.
5 Close windows and doors
Close all doors and windows on the vehicle. Leave one window open enough to insert the duct into the car.
6 Seal off window
Create a seal around the duct and open window it with tape and plastic or newspaper, preventing the ozone from escaping the vehicle.
7 Run the ozone generator
Run the ozone generator for at least 30 minutes (and no longer than 2 hours) to complete treatment. Please note that no animals should be in the car while this happens.
